You might think foot binding is gross, but nowadays in America with all of the tattoos, body piercings, and especially plastic surgery, who are we to say what's normal?
Sometimes flesh would rot off and toes would ooze with pus and blood.
Women had a better chance with marriage with their lumpy feet.
Rich girls had servants to carry them around, but poor girls were forced to stand up and work in fields.
